About the Site/History

The Beginning

ChanLu.Net was bought on May 18, 2006. The site officially opened on June 4, 2006. Our Site offers low cost quality web services, from customized layouts to fully working websites with content management systems. We also offer quality free linkware layouts that anyone can use. Currently, we also have free tutorials for everyone.

The Division

Then, we moved to a new location ChanLu.Org, due to Chanlu.Net's host limited capabilities that we needed a new host. We divided our site into two, one for our portfolio and services, which is now ChanLu-Works.Com, it houses all our current and past works from web design and our custom services. ChanLu.Org was then fully a design and tutorials site, which offers free premade layouts and programming tutorials.

The New Year 2007 change

Then at January 2007 a change happened, because of the both of us being too busy, we decided to remove the tutorials section since we didn't have time to write new tutorials and maintain it, we then changed it with wallpapers. We also decided for wallpapers to develop our imagination, creativity and designing skills. And furthermore, it takes a lesser time to create a wallpaper than writing tutorials. Also, on that change, the site had been heavily recoded.
